The children ranged in age from toddlers to older kids, and safety was clearly the top priority throughout the entire event. Our lifeguard maintained constant awareness of the pool while also engaging with the children and helping make the party fun.

We had a great experience with Summit Aquatics! They were highly recommended in our Scripps Ranch neighborhood, so when we were looking to have some private lessons for our children, we reached out and were very happy with our decision. Within just a few lessons, my sons learned skills they could repeat and continue building on, thanks to clear instruction and techniques that helped enforce muscle memory. We also appreciated the patience and calm approach during lessons with my 2 yr old. Our instructor was always punctual and professional, and most importantly - FUN! We had such a great experience with Summit Aquatics! We enrolled our two boys, who were at very different skill levels, and Coach Nic did an amazing job meeting each of them where they were and teaching at an age- and skill-appropriate level while still keeping the lessons fun.
My older son already had some swimming experience, and Coach Nic quickly identified what he was comfortable with and where he needed additional practice. He was able to focus on those specific areas and help strengthen his skills without spending time on things he had already mastered.
Our younger son was a completely different story. This was his first time swimming, and during his first class he cried the entire time! By the third class, he was comfortable going with Coach Nic and attempting a few skills. After just a few more classes, he was putting his head in the water, blowing bubbles, and kicking. It was really impressive to see that much progress in such a short amount of time.
I also really like the flexibility of the Summit Aquatics program compared with other swim schools. They come to your location, which is incredibly convenient, and you can choose when you want to schedule each session rather than being locked into the same day and time every week. With summer travel, holidays, and busy family schedules, that flexibility is a huge plus and you don't have to worry about arranging makeup classes.
